The EINA University School of Design and Art of Barcelona is where, after five years of attending classes in figure drawing, perspective, foreground and background, I gained my love of the history of art in every sense of the word.

My own English literature teacher at secondary school gave me a lifelong understanding of how to successfully use an introduction, middle and conclusion for letters, formal introductions, essay structure, and analysing metaphors and analogies.

 

Within the film industry, I teach storyboard drawing. This requires an essential, spontaneous and rapid way of understanding composition and how this translates to the camera frame. It is a language between the vision of the director and the storyboard artist and how this imagery relates to the way the public will see the finished film.

So, using a beautiful English expression, the proof is in the pudding, these are tried and tested ways of teaching English and drawing and have served me very well throughout my entire life. Online classes are an ideal way to develop skills through a shared learning experience.
